Service Description
In this class, kids and adults alike will have the opportunity to learn, practice, and master a variety of handicraft designed for both beauty and practicality. Some crafts are primitive by nature, others can be utilized with functionality in a homestead or survival environment. Each week, students will take home both a new skill and a functional handmade material they created on their own. Some projects will require further practice at home to complete. Each month has a specific theme, and each week in the month builds on the skills learned the weeks prior. January- Hand Stitching February- Wax Work and Candles March- Nature Journaling April- Hand Building May- WoodWork June- Braids, Plaits, and Macrame July- Hand Lettering August- Photography September- Gourd Art October- Weaving November-Soaping December- Knots This class is best suited for individuals aged mature 4+ as some of our work will be risky by nature. Younger children will require hands on parental assistance, and adults are welcome to join without children's attendance as well! Siblings and other children are welcome to play in the Outdoor Classroom as we work.
