Service Description

Children ages 4-8ish are invited to enjoy a day filled with nature exploration, maths and sciences, storytelling, and play! Each week, children are welcomed into circle time where we discuss the weather, practice intentional movements, hear a beautiful story or book, and listen to a short lesson. Circle Time lasts approximately 20 minutes, and is hands on and engaging! Afterwards, the children are encouraged to explore our experiment for the day, which might be gardening, nature studies, animal care, baking, painting, etc. When we complete our activity, the kids are invited to explore our centers or play in the Outdoor Classroom. The centers include sensory explorations, invitations to play, unique provocations, etc. After our free play time, we enjoy a peaceful communal picnic with the Forest Babies! The Outdoor Classroom remains open until approximately 2pm.
